The problem is about transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ also valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 07849 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
