This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high and power supply terminal 30, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
07846 Possible Causes:
07846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07846 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
