Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction and engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07840 Possible Causes:
07840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07840 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
