This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 1, system too rich off idle causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure regulator, circuit high and wait then please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
07817 Possible Causes:
07817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07817 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
