07816 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small or change injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07816 Possible Causes:
07816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07816 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
