078 Description And Summary : |

When you open turbocharger control module 1, implausible message causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition switch accessory position, circuit low or secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
078 Possible Causes:
078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 078 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
