When you open signal for back-up lights, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical you can see the camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07799 Possible Causes:
07799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 07799 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
