Staring in engine kick down switch, error message from engine contr. causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high or relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
07798 Possible Causes:
07798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 07798 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
