07797 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine torque reduction, open / short to ground and wait then accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
07797 Possible Causes:
07797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 07797 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
