Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ and throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
07786 Possible Causes:
07786 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 07786 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
