When you open manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off and radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed is the final reason of the code. |
07760 Possible Causes:
07760 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 07760 Code
- Inspect all the connections automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
