This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 . So for next control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07749 Possible Causes:
07749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07749 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
