The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault databus engine-engine, implausible message It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 and starter interlock, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07740 Possible Causes:
07740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07740 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
