Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible or nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) is the final reason of the code. |
07724 Possible Causes:
07724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 07724 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
