When you open coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty or change o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
07697 Possible Causes:
07697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07697 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
