This something to do with the intake camshaft timing barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal . On the other hand data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
07697 Possible Causes:
07697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07697 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
