The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07690 Possible Causes:
07690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07690 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
