The problem is about intake air heater "a", circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 and o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
07689 Possible Causes:
07689 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 07689 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
