This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly . So for next engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
07668 Possible Causes:
07668 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07668 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
