This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injection pump, fuel calibration not learned causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent and please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
07642 Possible Causes:
07642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07642 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
