07641 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance also pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
07641 Possible Causes:
07641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07641 Code
- Inspect all the connections park/neutral switch input circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
