This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
07639 Possible Causes:
07639 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07639 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
