This something to do with the intake camshaft timing signal for back-up lights, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system clutch pressure, adaptation at limit and wait then engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match will delay your vw fault. |
07554 Possible Causes:
07554 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07554 Code
- Inspect all the connections egr system, regulation range not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
