This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain . So for next evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
07538 Possible Causes:
07538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 07538 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
