This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant temperature sensor, circuit high and fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
07496 Possible Causes:
07496 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07496 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
