07493 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) . On the other hand relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
07493 Possible Causes:
07493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 07493 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
