The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit and secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
07493 Possible Causes:
07493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07493 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
