The problem is about valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean and control unit programming communication error will delay your vw fault. |
07491 Possible Causes:
07491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 07491 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil control circuit, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
