This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start power supply voltage, open circuit . On the other hand 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
07489 Possible Causes:
07489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 07489 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
