When you open exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly and hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high is the final reason of the code. |
07486 Possible Causes:
07486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07486 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
