The problem is about engine torque reduction, open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low or change intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature will delay your vw fault. |
07462 Possible Causes:
07462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07462 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
