07458 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then fuel additive control module warning lamp request is the final reason of the code. |
07458 Possible Causes:
07458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07458 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
