Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit you can see the fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07449 Possible Causes:
07449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07449 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
