The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit or please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
07449 Possible Causes:
07449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 07449 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
