The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake load signal stuck off . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07438 Possible Causes:
07438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07438 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
