07420 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine ignition switch run/start position, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
07420 Possible Causes:
07420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07420 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
