07408 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low also cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
07408 Possible Causes:
07408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 07408 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
