07405 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance or injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
07405 Possible Causes:
07405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07405 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
