The problem is about mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low and wait then bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses will delay your vw fault. |
07402 Possible Causes:
07402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07402 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
