07397 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c control module requested, mil illumination or change relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
07397 Possible Causes:
07397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07397 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
