07396 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for torque support mount, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles system too rich at higher load, bank 2 . So for next turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
07396 Possible Causes:
07396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07396 Code
- Inspect all the connections rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
