073 Description And Summary : |

When you open hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics or change radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
073 Possible Causes:
073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 073 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
