073 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction . So for next control unit programming, programming not finished is the final reason of the code. |
073 Possible Causes:
073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 073 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
