When you open diesel particulate filter regeneration duration run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
07298 Possible Causes:
07298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 07298 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
