This something to do with the intake camshaft timing angle sensors 1 signal implausible for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake air heater "a", circuit high and wait then fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
07280 Possible Causes:
07280 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07280 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
