This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing messages it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 also data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu will delay your vw fault. |
07268 Possible Causes:
07268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 07268 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
