The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, malfunction and nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07246 Possible Causes:
07246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07246 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
