07241 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) or change engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
07241 Possible Causes:
07241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 07241 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
