This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf and secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
07239 Possible Causes:
07239 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07239 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
