07231 Possible Causes:
07231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07231 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a"
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
