Accumulated in electronic control units so control unit error programming error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 and crankshaft position signal output, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
07229 Possible Causes:
07229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07229 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
