This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, ice blockage to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control motor, control circuit also direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
07224 Possible Causes:
07224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07224 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
