This code were stamped on VW Engine case turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or change nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

07220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07220 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
