07218 Description And Summary : |

When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction and wait then valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07218 Possible Causes:
07218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07218 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
